The Palms Motel Dubbo accepts all major credit cards (incl. Amex) and also has EFTPOS facilities available. Bookings without a current and valid number cannot not be deemed to be confirmed and hence subject to cancellation. EFTPOS payments are subject to a refundable deposit ($100) should a valid credit card not be supplied for security. Reservations are charged at time of booking, then subject to our cancellation policy as detailed below.
BEDDING POLICY / RATES
Each advertised base rate is for 2 people in 1 bed. Each additional people or bed used is charged at the rate of $20 per person or bed used. We do not allow people to sleep on floor or bring portable beds. If not sleeping in bed, extra person charged at $20 each
ROOM KEY CARDS
Guests are requested to return room keys to the reception upon departure or place in the external keybox. Room keys not returned are charged to guest form of payment at the rate of $10 per keycard.
In the event of any physical evidence, or residual odour, which indicates that smoking of any form has taken place inside a guest room or in any area of the motel with the exception of the smoking area (NSW Smoking Act 2011), a charge of $400 will be made against the credit card that was provided to the motel at the time of making the booking and/or at the time of checking in. This charge will cover the cost of steam cleaning the carpet and other soft furnishings, and of laundering all bedding and outside area cleaning.
QUIET ENJOYMENT POLICY
In the interests of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at the motel, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the property Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests at all times, and to be quiet between 10pm and 7am. Immediate eviction with no refund applies to any breaches of this policy. Similarly any guest found attempting to conduct any form of business, personal services or otherwise without management permission will be deemed to be in breach and immediately expelled without refund of monies paid.
Animals in vehicles may only be permitted by prior specific arrangement. With the exception of Sight and Hearing assistance dogs, all animals are strictly forbidden inside guest rooms. Any guests breaching this rule will face immediate eviction and a $200 cleaning fee for carpet and any soft furnishings effected.
Cooking in guest rooms is strictly forbidden by Health Authorities with the exception of the use of the kettle, toaster and microwave provided. A complimentary guest BBQ is provided for guests wishing to cook a meal. See reception for cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Fees for additional cleaning may apply should guests cook inside a guest room.
Laundry is charged at $10 a load/bag provided and is charged to your form of payment at time of leaving with us.
Management reserves the right to enter a guest room if they are concerned that damage has or may occur in a guest room. Any damage to motel property, whether accidental or wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued. Property damage included excessively dirty room and/or furnishings that require external services to clean.
Management is entitled to exercise discretion and either revoke a booking or resell a room in the following instances:
At the time of making a reservation, all guests will be required to provide a current and valid credit card number NOT debit card to confirm and secure the reservation. Our 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all bookings. Any cancellation made after 2pm one day prior to arrival will incur one night accommodation being charged to the guest’s credit card. Cancellations on or after 2pm on the day of arrival will result in the full amount of the booking being charged to the guest credit card. Failure to read our terms and conditions, including our Covid on entry, will not be anacceptable reason for a full refund. During high demand times such as school holidays, easter and christmas, reservations are taken on a non-refund basis.
Longer cancellation periods and non-refunds apply for peak periods and these policies are applicable . Group bookings have extended cancellation policies, including a valid credit card and payment in full no less than 2 weeks before. High demand times such as special events (sporting etc.) and long weekends require payment in full at reservation time and are non-refundable. Date movements are permitted subject to motel discretion.
